O nono álbum da Coldplay tem título, Music of the Spheres, e subtítulo, Vol I. From Earth with Love. Esse disco chegou às lojas físicas e digitais em outubro de 2021, incluindo os singles "Higher Power" e "My Universe" (com BTS). Selena Gomez, Jacob Collier e We Are King também fizeram parceria com a banda em canções de Music of the Spheres, que obteve a primeira colocação na parada de álbuns do Reino Unido pela nona vez.
